Pipe bridge between the boiler house and the vocational school building

We have developed a design for a pipe bridge between the boiler house and the school building. There was a heating plant on the premises of the School of Hotel Services, which supplied the school buildings with heating medium. The piping between the heating plant and the gymnasium was laid in a covered concrete trough below ground level, which originally caused poor accessibility in case of breakdowns and also large heat losses. The new pipe routing is designed in the air - above the existing road. The steel and concrete structure was chosen from three alternatives for which the implementation costs were evaluated. The alternative without bridge spans with simple unreinforced foundations was the most financially advantageous for the client in this project, also taking into account the cost of the work.
